Real ‘Christopher Robin’ (Milne) in an amateur film from 1929

The son of Alan Alexander Milne (author of Winnie-the-Pooh, 1926), Christopher Robin Milne, appears briefly in a short amateur film – ‘Pageant of Ashdown Forest 1929’ – dressed as Winnie-the-Pooh character ‘Christopher Robin’ alongside children dressed as Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger and Kanga.

This films belongs to the Nightingale Family Collection held by Screen Archive South East.

Screening of a rare 28mm home movie from the 1910s.

The ‘Amateur Film Day’ / ‘Dag van de Amateurfilm’ (28 September 2012, Utrecht, NL), will include the screening of a rare 28mm home movie from the 1910s. The event is organised by the Stichting Amateurfilm. For press release see ACSN Events.
